I am a dedicated person whenever I am needed or effort is appropriate. I absolutely love video games, hanging around with friends and team building exercises. I have a desire for sports as well. Even though I limited my participation to only football, track, and baseball, I enjoy watching and learning new topics about most sports. I am an only child from a single parent mother. I tend to make jokes around my Great Grandmother, Grandmother, and my mother because I am literally the only male in their lives. Naturally people say that I am raised y northern California because I was born in San Francisco, moved to Richmond, moved to Pittsburg but went to high school in Fairfield. Throughout my child hood through my high school graduation, I have been to six different schools in a series of different counties. Despite that it helped me with my future success. Evolving to that many different environments may not be easy for some, so I made it a skill. i can use this skill in any scenario and surrounding in a few different ways. I can adapt to new situations, perform immediately when necessary, and become networked into a whole new atmosphere.

The Vikings
Even though I did not live in the district, I went to school in Fairfield CA. I had a negative opinion about my high school the day my mother was taking me to sign up because I had heard rumors that the school was predominantly Caucasian. From the day I stepped into the office until I graduated, the time there will always be one of the best long term experiences I ever had.
I was scared to do sports but that school shook the fear out of me. I was having to always watch out for myself but that school helped me feel comfortable with letting my guard down. Vanden high school is an all-around great school. We were known as Travis Air Force base kids from the Solano County. At first I thought it was a military school but soon found out that the kids and young adults there were actually very fun and it was not a military school in the least. The schools academics were great, kids are social, success is often encouraged and pushed upon students from the teachers, and it has a high graduation rate and students are prepared for their college courses after high school.

The reason i started
I think there were two places where I developed my slang/ Ebonics. The first reason I may have developed it is because of how I was raised.
It was not my mother that was using the disruptive and broken language but my peers, uncles, and other people I saw on a daily basis. They were (and still are) the type of people that couldn’t speak correctly to save their lives. I eventually adapted to it so I could be able to talk to everyone in my environment. After I started using it I was always being viewed very different. One would think that maybe it started to become a negative outlook but in fact it was the opposite. People seemingly wanted to hold full conversations with me now that I spoke like them.
The second reason I started to use slang was because it sounded good and it was used everywhere (or so I thought). I was in 6th grade at Aim High Academy when I said my first curse word in public for example. The environment there was not the best true enough but I still had a choice. Reminiscing about it now, I think about it as if I may have been trying to fit in with everyone else.
